To Sarah, on her 30th Birthday

Three. Oh......
My best friend, my YOUNGER best friend, turns 30 today. (insert "teehee" here....follow immediately with a startled GASP!)

This year marks our 15th year as best friends. We've officially lived half of our lives together. As a military brat, that's a pretty awesome feat! I think that deserves at least a FEW shared favorite photos and stories for everyone. Sarah, this one's for you. Happy Happy Happy Birthday!!!!

Sarah and I are traveling girls. This was taken on a weekend trip to  St. Augustine, Florida. So fun!

I think this was one of the only times we both had hair this length. This was taken downtown in Tampa, after dinner at Jackson's (mmmm chicken sandwich with avacado, bacon and provolone....mmmmm)!

Want to know what happens when you add body wash to a foot bath? teeheehee!

Wow! I'm almost a brunette here, lol! One of the last times Sarah and I were together in her family home in Newport, RI.

Sarah and JESUS! Ask her about Jesus's birthday cake ;) (Sarah, you KNOW I love that thing! PS The "thing" I was referring to is the cake, not Jesus)

One of my favorite Newport pics of us. Here we are in front of the carnival, Sarah's holding an Awful Awful, I'm the idiot in a tank top in the middle of fall, having just eaten the BEST caramel apple ever. Sarah and I met in RI, thank GOD my family was stationed in Newport. What would our lives be like if we weren't???? Crazy thought... moving on.....

Sarah and her wildflowers :)

YOUNGIN'! Ummm.... this was almost a decade ago now. GULP!

When bad facemasks happen to good people! A little girl time at the beach house in NC :) I put my mask on in the living room while Sarah put hers on in the bathroom, when she came out and saw me/ I saw her, I think I laughed harder than I have in my entire life. FUNNY STUFF!

Newport Bridge :) Sarah and I found a new favorite rock spot to explore. Love that about RI!

Scoot and Sarah on Thanksgiving day last year. I love this picture!

You know, I did complain a tad about the world's longest road trip route from RI to NC (a roundabout way to avoid toll roads that extended our trip a few hours), but seriously, the views were AMAZING! I love that this is what we do: we hop in the car, we drive, we have a good time no matter what we are doing. Love that!

Lol! Had to end with a favorite photo of mine, taken at our favorite  Girl's Vacation location: the beach house in Holden Beach, NC. So many memories here. Can't wait to one day bring our families here for summer vacations or holidays, to one day ESCAPE our families here for girl time....

Sarah, hope this year brings you nothing but happiness, motivation, renewed faith in everyone you surround yourself with, adventures beyond your wildest dreams and most of all, love.

Love you and here's to the next 30 years, whatever they may bring!
